The fourth chamber was the only one in the Archives that had no record in it.

No pre-Integration notation, no system display, no resonance construct from the lineage's rendering tradition. The walls were bare stone. It was, Keth'serai had always thought, either the most honest room in the Archives or the most deliberately unsettling one. Possibly both. The Archives, two thousand years old and built by people who understood the value of context, had left this room empty for reasons she had stopped trying to determine.
